Who we are

memujo is an independent publication run by Alice, who serves as editor and lead writer. There is no corporate parent, no outside investors, no editorial board answering to a boardroom. This means we can publish quickly and follow our own standards, but it also means Alice is solely responsible for everything we publish.

How every story is written

Our process is simple and repeatable. Every article follows these steps:

1. Identify the story. We monitor primary sources: company press releases, research papers, court filings, funding announcements, and industry reports.
2. Verify against primary sources. Every factual claim is traced back to the original source. We never rely on secondary reporting alone.
3. Research from multiple angles. A story is drafted from at least three independent sources. One must be primary: the original announcement, paper, or official statement.
4. Write with a point of view. We don't just report what happened; we explain what it means. Analysis is clearly separated from reported facts.
5. Link everything. Every factual claim is backed by a link to the source we read. If you can't verify a claim, we didn't publish it.
6. Editorial review. Every article is reviewed for accuracy, clarity, and fairness before publication.

Editorial standards

• Minimum three sources. Every story is drafted from at least three independent sources. One must be the primary source.
• Primary sources are always linked. When we say something happened, you can click the link and read it yourself.
• Analysis is labeled. When we offer an opinion or interpretation, it is clearly distinguished from reported facts.
• Unverified claims are flagged. If a detail is reported by only one outlet, we either omit it or mark it as unconfirmed.
• No sponsored content. We do not accept payment for coverage, do not run sponsored posts, and have no paid placements.
• Original writing only. Articles are researched and written from scratch. We do not spin press releases or republish other outlets' work in modified form.

We fix errors promptly. If you spot something wrong, let us know and we will review it. Corrections and updates are noted in the article itself whenever possible.

Why we exist

The technology and AI news cycle moves fast. Most outlets cover what happens in real time, then move on. We want to do more than that.

When a model launches, we don't just report the specs. We look at what it means for the companies building on top of it, the researchers who made it possible, and the people who will use it. When a game releases, we don't just count the pre-orders. We examine what it signals about the market and the players in it.

That is the gap we are trying to fill: analysis that respects the facts but does not stop at them.
